I love love love that we see so much about the crime division
The boss is hilarious, all of the colleagues have personalities
This is what makes the quality so good and shows the good acting of the whole cast

HIStory 3: Trapped - Episode 2
The interactions between the whole police squad is just hilarious and precious. I love Captain Shi and am so, so happy that they decided to give the background characters so much room to contribute to the overall vibe to the show. It’s also so clear that Li Chen’s death hurt not only Shao Fei but a lot in the team.
Zhao Zi’s and Shao Fei’s interactions are one of the best, their brotherly/best friend chemistry is great and the fact that everyone thinks Shao Fei will run after Tang Yi again had me hollering.
At this point in the story, I wasn’t really convinced that Jack really shot Wang Kun Cheng but everything points in this direction and I’m curious how they will solve this when Shao Fei ultimately will fall for Tang Yi and they have to handle that topic...
I’m also convinced that Li Chen was more to Shao Fei than just his senior/mentor, maybe a mother figure maybe more and I’m a bit confused why we know so little about Shao Fei’s past. Does he have parents? Why did he become a police officer? Little by little, we get to know Tang Yi more, for example, that he became a member of Xin Tian Meng when he was a child but nothing on Shao Fei’s backstory. Is his background just not interesting or is there interesting stuff yet to reveal?
