A kirin used to be my favorite ka for Ryou, but this current trap au has me thinking a better one would be biblical-style-angel. It's a creature of light and love. It has beautiful wings, and eyes...so many eyes...so...many...eyes. It has to start with "be not afraid" because you are afraid, awfully afraid...
What are they plotting???
yugi and atem in a post canon scenario always going to hang out with bakura and ryou at their apartment and stay the night, and it happens so much that ryou is eventually like "why dont we all just buy a bigger place together?" and everyone tries to play off how bad they want that but they all agree to
when they're actually looking for places, its starts out as just a big apartment like 'oh haha just a starter place until all of us figure our lives out and go our separate ways' but somewhere along the line they've all decided they may as well get a house instead because why not if they're all putting money towards it, and then they settle in and make it so much their home that they all agree it'd be silly to leave, they may as well just spend the rest of their lives together there haha its no big deal (it is such a big deal that they're all separately trying to figure out if they can do a 4 way marriage)
a post-canon puzzleshipping/gemshipping au where ryou invites yugi over for a sleepover and at some point in the night yugi halfway jokes about ryou probably knowing spells to bring back a dead lover, to which ryou responds "i mean. yeah probably, but i doubt it'll work" and starts scouring his library. yugi stares in hopeful horror as ryou recites the incantation and performs just a bit of blood magic, only to see not just atem's return from a'aru but also watch as bakura (unexpectedly) appears behind ryou. cue all four of them being very VERY overwhelmed with emotions all over the spectrum.

Yugi: Ryou just insisted the Pharaoh and I remember a code word in case we’re ever confronted by his clone or a cyborg doppelgänger and we’re not sure which is the real him and which is the imposter.

Yami Bakura: Never have I ever shagged my boyfriend but we both forgot to take off our items, so our two partners had to hear it all since we share a body and they couldn’t even say anything because my boyfriend and I were fighting and making the friend group miserable so it was absolutely necessary just to have peace again.
