While the fence is merely there to serve as a boundry marker, you sense that the cat is a lot more powerful than her humble appearance might suggest. If anyone attempts to force their way past her, they will find that she can stop them quite easily.

She means no harm of course. And she even seems to be sympathetic towards your concerns for Maverick.
