I’ve not been feeling very confident to post selfies in the last year. None of the picture I took of myself felt right. But today I’m celebrating my weirdness and how unique I am; my right to be me as defined by me, paying no mind to who others may think I should be. In the spirit of Mollymauk Tealeaf: “Bitchy and defiant 'til the very end!"

I think for my 30th birthday some celebratory selfies are in order. People always seem to say that turning 30 feels awful, but to be honest, I feel great! Being an adult does not mean being sour all day long, you’re life doesn’t stop when you leave your 20s and temporary pirate tattoos never stop being cool. Turning 30 for me has only meant that I’ve grown to be a person that’s doing good in their life. I love my job, I know how to deal with my mental health and I have more of an idea of who I am as a person. The grey hairs are something to be cherished rather than feared and the fact that there are still bad days sometimes doesn’t invalidate how far I’ve come. Life is wonderful and my future has just started! My days ahead are accompanied by great friends! I’ll forever be an excitable overgrown kid and that’s absolutely ok 🎉🎉🎉

I think I had a look today. Even though that top suffered some injuries it was worth it.

It’s so humid today, my hair decided to go through an emo phase again.

Shaves the sides real short this time again! I love the feeling of it a lot and also can fit nearly all my hair into a bun now!
