friday: most self-indulgent fic you have ever posted?

Oh boy... Probably Shattered Echo? It was right after Between Copper and I remember I felt exhausted and I wanted to just write something nice and cozy. Nothing too heavy. But also Beneath My Skin, Stars Collide had that same feeling! I wanted to just have fun and write about friendship, have calm and bonding moments. Pretty much Jack’s life is what I want in that story and there’s a lot of personality there, with the crystals and boho stuff! So yeee!

“There is something uniquely raw about this entire piece in a way I can't explain. Anti does feel very much like a crooked mirror to me--reflective, expressive, but from what is around him. When surrounded by bad people, he acts a certain way. With Jack...kindness shines through. Even if just a bit.God, this was an absolutely breathtaking piece--I loved Narcissus Gaze with a passion but this just spoke to me at volumes much louder and much harsher. NG was a storm in the middle of the ocean, but this was a hurricane--powerful, breathtaking, beautiful. Unbridled and dangerous, but in such a good way.I love your Anti. He's one of my favorite versions of Anti I have ever read. He's a fantastic mixture of cold but caring and an absolutely stunning person, both good and bad.
