Feel like some readers don’t understand that making an IF story is a whole lotta work when they come in here demanding that you let us kill Helios. I’ve nothing against thinking that your MC would kill Helios, mine might if he had the chance, but y’all cannot be acting upset that someone who is giving you a FREE game isn’t giving an option that would make the workload way bigger…

It's not necessarily about the workload but about the story. Some characters are crucial for the story I want to tell and I can't be killing them off just because someone wants to do it LOL

I think people fail to realize IF authors don't just make up the story as they go, sure they can add new elements while working on it but the start and end are already planned. At least Helios fans will be happy to know he's important for the continuation of the story after book 1! 🫶

If I were to accept a deal that involved giving away the colour of my eyes, what might the consequences be? And is the colour of my eyes in exchange for the key to the dimension behind my bathroom mirror as much of a steal as I think it is?

Be more precise - the color alone, drawn out like ink, or would the rest of your eyes come with it? Which colors - the iris or the white or the darkness inside? What do they want it for and what will the deal let them take?

Secondly - no, absolutely not, there is no good thing that will come of the mirror worlds. That is not worth any good thing. Ask for something that won’t bring you such sorrow.

If I could pick Horse Ranch AU twice I would. When I was going through the other options, as soon as I picked "Small Town," I thought "Horse Ranch or Cowboys AU?" and then it was really an option! My gay heart sung. (The rest of the options are super cool too! That one just speaks to me personally.)

I need to do so much research on horse ranch AU because I know fucking nothing about horses. But it’s on the list. And it’s one I really want to do. I like niche AUs, if you haven’t noticed.

And technically in the notes you can say “please horse ranch AU” because people who voted for the ML AU are all asking for it multiple times in the notes section at the bottom.
