Murphy looked up at the stars, and thought, Damn, I miss you Mbege.

He'd overheard what Bellamy told Clarke, about Mbege's death, how it was the Grounders who slit his throat and left him to die. And it broke him. It broke him to know that he wasn't there for the only person he could remotely call a friend, that he didn't get to tell Mbege he forgave him for leaving him on that cliff in the rain; he would never hear his laugh, or see him smile at one of their stupid jokes, he would never have a friend again. 

Murphy turned away from the stars, back into the darkness of the forest, and headed to the gate that loomed in the distance. For a moment something in him hoped that one of those constellations could be Mbege watching him from afar, and he smiled, See you soon, friend.
