“Take a picture, it’ll last longer 🎵”
He hadn’t really meant to be staring. It was a fine line between that and observing his surroundings as he was trained to do. Observe and report, if necessary, or act if he saw something out of the ordinary.
Not to mention, despite that he had been freed quite some time ago, the world around him continued to capture his attention. He had grown accustomed to living in the Shroud, but even here he still found strange, new things. With his right eye’s vision slowly stabilizing, it was back to taking in all the sights around him again. Some familiar, some new. Some people he had met while still blind, while others had changed drastically since losing and regaining his sight.
Some had always captured his gaze. Perish was an example of this. For someone so small, she was certainly still fierce. Her pale-pink hair and matching eyes complimented her dark skintone. Her sense of style was even on par with that of Akino’s, and he often had a hard time deciding which of them had the better style.
“... Is there something on my face?”
He blinked, red eye meeting with Perish’s mismatched ones and furrowed brows. The awkward embarrassment of having been caught was enough to paint his cheeks red, and he mumbled an apology as he worked to hide his face in his hair and look away.
