{☆} R A G E. Blinding rage. That was all Gamora could feel as she came to, her body still T I N G L I N G from the shock of Rocket’s tasers. The ship was moving beneath her--no, she needed to get back down there. She needed to get to Peter. Sweat dripped down the side of her face as she moved, struggling to get to her feet.
Her body ached, but no worse than the A C H E that was spreading through her heart. Had she been S I L E N T too long? Would she ever get the chance to speak the U N S P O K E N?
Gamora whirled around, eyes full of F U R Y as she lunged at Rocket, only to be stopped by the strong hands of Drax. She was so A N G R Y, so beyond consolation--she was nearly F O A M I N G at the mouth.
“How could you L E A V E him? You son of a B I T C H! He’s our friend! He’s my-- We can’t L E A V E him--I need to go get H I M! Please!”

He’s pretty sure Yondu must’ve had some trick, or something, because learning how to use the damn arrow is like learning to pilot something with his eyes closed and his hands behind his back and no instruction manual, and also the engines have been replaced with those kids toys that wobble and wobble and wobble when you knock ‘em.
“Hey, it’s harder’n it looks,” he says, and it comes out a little more defensive than he meant. “Least I ain’t stabbed you.”
