I will warn that I’ve read that some people DO consider it fanservicey, while others argue that they’re overreacting. (And I know I already said the anime censors a lot, but I’ve also read that they are much tamer on this front than the manga? In case you wanted to weigh Watching versus Reading.) In any case, if you ever decide to check it out for yourself, I hope it’s enjoyable for you!

Well I can already tell you it’s scary and depressing and doesn’t shy away from graphic content, if any of that bothers you! My brother already reads it, you see, we’ve discussed it on occasion. (He likes cute shit AND horror.) Though I guess the anime censors a lot, they kinda have to.
