i was abused by multiple trans women throughout my life. you don't see me saying "kill all trans women", and if you did, i wouldn't see anywhere near the amount of support this person saw. why is it different for dogs? they didn't do anything. blame the assholes that harassed them, not dogs as a whole. "euthanize all canines" is completely invalid, regardless of trauma.

As someone who is a transspecies dog, I would think you want me dead and will hurt me for just being a dog. I'm still a dog even if I'm trans and I can still fear for MY safety around you if you believe such things. if I say all cats should die a trans cat have every right to feel unsafe around me. stop justify making transspecies feel unsafe in this community when this is meant to be a SAFE PLACE.

I have a dog myself, and I still feel very bad for the person who said "euthanize all canines". Because they got attacked by a dog and have a fear and hatred for dogs. Although I don't agree with "euthanize all canines", I can see where they're coming from.

People involved in permaPHD’s traumacourse are completely lacking nuance. Yes, it is not justified for someone to call for the genocide of a group, regardless of if that group has internet access or not. It is also completely understandable and should be expected that permaphd, who has had dogs directly involved in his abuse, would lash out in uncomfortable ways in response to people literally trying to find videos of his trauma and/or videos similar to it

Trying to “cancel” permaphd over a “victimless crime” instead of trying to understand where he came from and prioritizing his very real victimization here over him saying something unpleasant is only going to tear the RQ community apart further.

As a dog, block him if you are uncomfortable with him. I already have. Otherwise, stop treating victims like they must be perfect to be believed

It’s almost like people have different reactions to traumatic experiences? Every trauma response is valid wether it’s saying “kill all ___” or not, if you belittle that and choose to harass people who say that just because it’s towards a group of animals or people then please seek help, they are not bothering you or anyone with their trauma. You’re also ignoring the fact that the reason it was said in the first place WAS because of harassment from someone making fun of and showing more stuff about that trauma.

like why is this even a problem anyway?? if it makes you personally uncomfortable block and move on?

everyone’s trauma is valid. do whatever you need to make the thoughts better <3
