I'm thankful to my love and best friend for the best vacation ever! 💙 🌴 🌺 A little bit of our adventures in Hawaii, celebrating 7 years of marriage.
Nature, hikes, beaches, luau, volcanos, stars and a big aloha!
Some people asked me which one is my favorite Island in Hawaii (I visited Kauai, Oahu and Big Island). Well, each one has something very special, but the Island that got my heart is definitely the Big Island.
I'll explain it here! 8 reasons to love Big Island: 1 - One of the prettiest beaches that I had ever seen is there: Carlsmith Beach. 2 - One of the best hikes of my life is also there: Kilauea Iki trail 3 - The vibe is magic. Aloha! 4 - I love Volcanos and I'm enchanted with the Volcano's National Park. 5 - The best place I got to watch the sunset .. 6 - Also the best place to stargazing. Just fabulous. Mahalo, Mauna Kea. 7 - I slept with the birds and the frogs singing right in front my window. Tropical feelings. 8 - The rain forest, wow! Such a visual! 9 - I'm a coffee lover, and the Kona Coffee is the best coffee of the world. Delicious! 10 - The airport is very interesting and fun! Stuff and decoration. (Kona)
I could tell more, but I believe it's enough. I can't wait to explore the others islands in Hawaii. :)
Aloha and mahalo! 🌺🌺🌺
Pizza and Company, Macau
Are you into great thin pizzas? Pizza and Company is the right place for you. With the nice cozy ambiance and fresh smiley faces, it is definitely a venue for happy tummies! Tried Pizza Fruta de Mare and Beef and Mushroom spaghetti partnered with hot veggie soup and a whole garlic bread. Absolutely an "it" for two for just MOP246!
Fruta de Mare pizza: Pizza with seafood toppings. (Shrimp, squid, crab meat, etc.)
Beef and Mushroom Spaghetti: Pasta with with sauce consisting of beef and mushrooms
A-Ma Temple and Statue, Macau SAR
Magnificent! That's the exact word to describe it. The temple is really far up high the mountain. Glad we had brought a car 'cause God knows how hard it is to go up there. My legs would probably hurt for a month. And no, that's not an exaggeration. There's a shuttle, though. But I'm afraid we would've waited an hour or so for it to arrive. Lazy bus drivers, I know.
The Temple. Like other temples. Wide courtyards, 2-storey structures surrounding it, wishing wells, lion statues, smoky incense, etc. Oh, and the mouldings are gold. Dunno if it's real. But it doesn't matter whether it is or it isn't 'cause in the Philippines it WILL be stolen. Kidding, bad Filipino right here. Shoot me now.
The Statue. It's huge? Haha. What do you expect? It wouldn't be so magnificent if it was an ant's height. DUH.
Why don't they change A-Ma into Jesus? It'll be so so so much better.
VANS OFF THE WALL SUMMER MUSIC JAM
Oh, yes. Oh, yes. Oh, yes!! You're getting it right. PINAYAGAN AKO NI MOMMY! Well, that's after an agonizing super long mom-daughter talk with sermons and confessions. Pero at least, right? SHE GAVE ME PERMISSION TO GO!
12NN, the bomb slash the news slash the great judgement has landed. I was still in the shower and it was plain luck na nakalabas ako without any fractured ribs, broken arm or dislocated leg from jumping and squealing because of joy.
2PM, I was good to go. Boarded the bus without a weapon aka tissue. I was suffering from cold and cough. It was a miracle na di tumulo yung mucus ko right there. It would have been so embarrassing, Thank you Lord for my flexible neck that did nothing but tingala kasi nga baka tumulo. But I guess that was too much information.
3PM, claimed the tickeat Mango. Yepee, yeyooooo. Do I need to elaborate more? We were soooo excited, what can I say?
4PM, kwek-kwek time at Dr. Kwek-Kwek. Dunno, we're not being cheap. It's craving, so what! Had some nice orange pugo-balls and tried the fried one day old chick. It was like a pritong balot or whatever. Ewwy at sight but delicious at taste.
4:30PM, KFC bound for angry dinosaurs. Eat, eat and eat. Filled up enough for some super amazing experience later on.
6PM, tried selling the extra ticket and failed. I guess we don't pass as illegal ticket sellers, that's why. Hahaha! 'Cause we're more like celebs, you know? And hey, the original price for a ticket is PHP1000 and those other illegal sellers sell it for PHP700. That's still money!
7PM, in we go inside Mall of Asia Arena. First time stepping into those grounds so, hooray! Goal achieved to me and mission accomplished to Pula.
8PM, settled in our places with Pula's cousin and his cousin's friends in front. Yeah, free seating. Yeah, free tickets to them, too.
3AM, concert was amazing but my eyes are droopy and everything's blurry. Hey to the hosts: Jeffrey WhatsHisLastName, Cesca Litton, KC Montero and Tado. And oh yeah, Rhian Ramos was there. Supporting KC Montero, I guess? I know nothing about celeb couples. Then those amazing bandsssss! And my love for Jay of Kamikazee. I guess, that was it. Time to reside into a nice peaceful dreamland so I'm off without any actual food. I guess Krispy Kremes and burger steaks was considered dinner, then.
Thank you Pula!
Forgive the quality of photos. Iphoneography because I left my baby aka SLR at the apartment.
