And...that’s a wrap. Heading home after these final few days in Istanbul. I really do love this city and the food! Going to miss bal kaymak (honey and clotted cream) and I’m glad my kunefe quest ended in delicious success yesterday. (Unrelated- I need to hit the gym hard when I get back). These past few weeks have been a good mix of solo travel, hanging with @lapetitecuisine11 in Berlin and Rome, seeing a few folks- friends old and new, and also doing a lot of thinking along the way. I want to acknowledge that traveling always has me recognize how much privilege I have.
