SAD BOI BIO
(Beneath the cut)
He has been traveling through timelines for... many many resets now. At first, it was an accident, a glitch, a loophole, a break in the system. It was like falling through the map while the world happened around him. But then it kept happening. And kept happening... When he found himself starting to separate from heart, mind, and body, he had to learn how to control it. He had some... help, but that allowed him to see something that no one was meant to see. Something... that sends a chill through every Sans when he's outside the boundary. Even for just a moment.
He's been running ever since.
Also, "he". (You know me and agendering my favourites.)
In typical Sans fashion, he makes jokes to cover his feelings, but he also jokes to masquerade as if he has any. The truest things he feels are fear and apathy. He tries hard to contain himself because his being is now tied to The Boundary; he doesn't want to risk anything he's running from to break that containment.
When he does feel, there are some side effects: black sludge when he's sad or overwhelmed; he starts to chip when he's angry; he dusts when he dissociates or has a vision...
He does have "tattoos", but they're actually bone carvings. Being that he has memories from every timeline he visits, and he's even given some depending on who he touches, he is starting to lose himself. He has engravings on himself to try and remember things. (He's even had others engrave him where he can't reach to help him remember...) The carvings are the only thing keeping him sane. They're steeped with magic and emotion. And they're the only things about him that still feel organically...
He's slowly losing himself... He's about to be caught in an inbetween place, and he's... terribly afraid of the dark.
Outside of that, he still tries to be present and enjoy fun. It breaks his heart when he has to leave a timeline, but he tries to visit. He knows it's bad to make connections, but... is it a crime to hate being alone?
(He has an especially soft spot for Grillby. Strangely, every Grillby looks at him as if they know something. That's the only thing he doesn't like.)
Regarding whether estate rules on the invitations can be broken, a lot of them are can't-vs-mustn't guidelines.
Theft is a can't, as with property damage. Basically, unless it's something meant to be taken, or at least available for being given away, anything spawned by Ridwan is part of Ridwan, and it'll despawn as soon as it leaves the estate's perimeters. Anything guests are able to take home, they would have to have been brought to the estate prior for the purpose of being available as souvenirs or refreshments.
All consumables are imports. That one's a hard rule. Probably all the drugs in the infirmary too– the pill bottles might be spawned in, but not the contents, allowing Ridwan to easily summon them.
Anything in the orchard or in the gardens, if it's from Ridwan, it skips the fruiting stage after blooming and cycles straight back to new buds and leaves.
The sewing kit was in the butter cookie tin (had to), and for the same reasons, that's why the whole tin was summoned on a tray. Ridwan needed one of their own spawns holding the tin to be able to summon it.
Similarly, that's why Ridwan gets another pot for Flowey. One that wouldn't match the party aesthetic, but wouldn't despawn when he leaves either.
This also comes up with NOMAD when they need a change of clothes. The reason the spidersilk robes and pajamas provided in guest rooms can't be instantly adjusted is because they're also not from Ridwan, in case anyone needs to wear them home.
Ridwan will be planting the blood moon flower from Stardust as edging in the dueling grounds, and after asking about it, they can self-propagate. If someone picked one of those, they could take it home. Fault takes a hyacinth home, and that wouldn't be a continuity error either. It'd just confirm that those hyacinths were never from Ridwan either.
I’ve been wanting an excuse to make other people’s guys hanging out with mine so thank you
I drew the first 2 backgrounds myself and for the final one I just used a solid color (You said anything is fine as long as it isn’t stolen, traced or ai right?). Even if this doesn’t qualify I would still like you to have this. I like Tourist, he’s fun
First off we have Tourist trading stories on a random anti-void bench with Traveler Gaster. Why is there a random anti-void bench? Who knows!
Second is Tourist downing sriracha with Undertech Sans or as I like to call him ‘Cal’ (short for Calculator)
And finally here is me hugging Tourist because I want to 😊
