Megabus is one of the cheapest forms of transport I’ve found.

You can get to a lot of Europe for very little however it will take you alone time. I spent about 24 hours on a bus surrounded by people in very close quarters. It was completely full and it only stopped when we got to the ferry (I was going to Cologne in Germany) I was able to stretch my legs on the ferry.

I recommend this for anyone looking to visit Europe on the cheap.

If you book early you can get a ticket for around £20 and you will get as far as Italy or Spain or Germany...
