I know I’ve never spoken up on any of these k-pop fandom issues, but I think this is important. Death threats are no joke. It’s not something you can just take lightly, or brush off. Of course, I’m really sorry for the mature, polite, supportive ARMYs who wanted the hitouch and paid for all this just to have it cancelled. But I understand the organisers’ and Big Hit’s decision. The concert is important, but safety is the top priority and it can’t be overlooked. Death threats aren’t okay, and they could really drive a person, not even an idol, to their death. “I brought my gun, it’s about to go down, RIP Namjoon?” No. Just stop okay? You aren’t even in the fandom, why are you trying to ruin other fans’ hopes? Could you be a bit more sensitive to the other fans? Why would you do this to a group of boys, some teenagers and some barely adults? Some of the fans on twitter said that Jimin and Jungkook went straight to the fancafe to tell the kfans that they were homesick. The entire group was completely disappointed. Now everyone’s going crazy. Kfans are blaming the Ifans, ifans are blaming each other. So many people are being insensitive, being ignorant, being racist. Can you guys just stop for a minute and respect each other? What’s done has been done, albeit disappointing. Can we all, ARMY or not, just try to work together and prevent this from happening in the future again? Once again, I’m really sorry to all the fans of BTS who’ve waited months for this.

To all the seventeen ifans: despite the fact that this didn’t happen to our fandom, I think we can take away something from this. Let’s be sensitive to each other, and sensitive to the boys. I believe that the people in our fandom will be mature enough to protect seventeen. So whatever you do, please don’t send seventeen, or any idol for that matter, death threats. Seventeen are still young - they might not know how to deal with those, and bad things might happen. So can we all just take a moment to think about this, and learn from this, even if this didn’t happen to us. 

I’m not in the ARMY fandom. I’m 14 - people are still going to think of me as a kid, so my opinion may not seem as important, and people are going to think I’m joking, or I’m just ignorant. But I just want to get this out there that this isn’t acceptable.
