It was probably time to admit she hadn’t been listening to a word he’d said, especially since he looked like her planet’s equivalent to a puppy. Granted these animals, Shiunks, had six sets of limbs, no eyes, couldn’t talk, and tended to be used in back yard barbecues, which made it all the funnier to hear one talking in a grown man’s voice. “Listen, boy, I just can’t take you seriously like that. Baby Groot often ends up crawling in bed with Rocket in the middle of the night even if he does not START in the same room.

Though the others are getting to where they can understand him more easily, Rocket is still the only one that understands the intricacies of what Groot says. Rocket is ALSO the main influence for Groot’s foul language BUT he is NOT the only poor rolemodel among the group.
