so this morning I got and email from my accommodation office to tell me that there was a package waiting for me in reception. I pretended to be grumpy at the prospect of having to leave my flat but really I was glad to have an excuse to take a break from revision (that I hadn’t actually started yet)
I was super pleased to see that it was the treatyoselfbox that I had ordered before Christmas, themed “with you till the end of the line”. Upon opening my nostrils were hit with an extremely pleasant smell and my eyes were hit with the sight of a fancy personally addressed enevelope and tissue paper in my exact favourite colour.
inside the envelope was a sweet letter with a list of items inside the box and where they’d come from
the first item I pulled out were a pair of fuzzy socks which are perfect because a) SOCKS b)FLUFFY c) I am always cold
next were some sweets including chocolate buttons which are The Best - I know that all of these are going to be gone by the end of the week, as they will be excellent revision snacks
drinking fudge with mint - not something I’ve tried before but am definitely looking forward to, especially with some mini marshmallows.
this is so cute I just can’t. It’s such a subtle piece of jewellery, but will mean more than what other people might think. currently wearing it and wishing for good luck in my exams
I saw this and it instantly became one of the best items I own - super cute, with the shield and the red white and blue - I am definitely going to be wearing this
I discovered what the amazing smell is with the next items - mini bath bombs! they smell really sweet, which I love. unfortunately, I don’t have a bath currently, but they’ll definitely get used in the future. for now they can make my room smell great
next are these nice ass little stucky badges. They’ve got pretty solid pins on the back so i can definitely use them to accessorise something without worrying too much about them breaking or falling off like most shop-bought badges I own
the best thing I think that anyone could receive - stickers! these will probably end up on my laptop or somewhere else which is going to last. the stucky pocket one is especially adorable
last but not least - 8x6 prints, both of which are beautiful and hq print. I am going to get a frame for at least one of these so I can display them in my room nicely like the stucky trash that I am
Ordering this box was probably one of the best decisions that I made in 2016 and has definitely served its purpose of bringing me some comfort and making me smile - I really needed this especially during exam week
