sometimes when i'm talking to my girlfriend and telling her about how i function in life, i can watch in real time as the "i can fix her" circuit goes off in her brain. i can see the scheming in her eyes. it's so funny and so sweet

it's so cute and funny how my girlfriend is so Woman In STEM that when i asked her to make a list ranking some combinations i was expecting like a 1.

but instead she gives me an entire logic table, and does her best to explain how to read it to me so i can understand, since she Knew i would not know how. and i did learn how to read and understand it!! except for one thing--

i am dyslexic and trying to read charts is almost always hell for me :')

so she asks me if i want her to list them, so i gratefully ask her to please give me a list because i am a disaster and i'm so glad she loves me

...it is once again lines of text. using example + example > example + example > ... etc. which!! i understand and can read much easier than a logic table! it's great!

however, i am still. very dyslexic. and some of it is still a little bit confusing to me, who has a brain geared exactly the Opposite of STEM, and at this point i just feel bad for making her dumb it down so much and yet Still not comprehending

(NOTE: THIS IS NOT A VENT RAND OR VAGUEPOST!! i think it's super funny when our brains do Opposite so hard like this since we're often on the same page about things, and i also feel really fond seeing how her different thought processes guide her to do things so much differently from time to time. also funny: i need to be explained things like i am a toddler sometimes bc my brain doesn't brain so good ksdhfks)

i call my girlfriend "wifey" all the time and she calls me "wifey" back and we have little promise rings we wear around all the time and it's so cute! it makes us both so happy :D
