Hey folks, can I flag something interesting that I found this week? If you're into sustainability, check out an app called Treeapp - they plant a tree a day in exchange for you answering a question from their sponsors, which are usually sustainable brands looking to connect to interested users. It's totally free, takes literally ten seconds a day, and there are more options in the app if for example you want to see how the tree planting helps your carbon offset. The links to NGOs doing the planting projects look legit.

This is Treeapp. It's an app that lets you plant a tree for free every day in less than a minute. I know it sounds too good to be true but hear me out.

It shows you one sponsored advert for a sustainable company each day and will give you discount codes, but there's no commitment to buying anything or subscribing to anything! The sponsor in return will fund one sapling (you can even choose which project your tree goes towards).

If you like you can sponsor additional trees yourself or gift trees to others, but this is totally optional. It even shows your progress towards offsetting your carbon footprint if you're interested in that sort of thing. Check it out!

Thought I’d share one of my writing tips. Or more specifically, a tool that helps with productivity, but the two go hand in hand for me lately. It’s the simplest app called Forest. I can set a timer for any amount of time and a tree grows! 🌲 But if I touch my phone, the tree dies. 🥺 It’s the weirdest thing, but keeping that tree alive is enough to keep me off my phone and focused on the task at hand. I’m ashamed to say that, like many others I’m sure, I’m addicted to my phone and scrolling through social media. It may seem silly, but this app helps me. I know there are other apps that cut off your internet for a certain amount of time and all that but this is enough for now and it works for me. How do you keep yourself motivated and on-task?
