Drizzle/Tree has a nightmare and runs to Myrtle and hides in his scarf. And he doesn’t know so he later wakes up to find them just tucked into his neckerchief. and then he just carries them around like a baby sling on his throat

When my brain isn’t all fuzz, I’mma write a story about how Treekit and Drizzlekit see all the poly as their parents, and the adopted kits kinda agree like “yeah we call you two our dads/mom and dad, but we pretty much see all of you as our parents”

and they move from “uncle”/”aunt” to “dad” and dad synonyms

I like to imagine all of the younger DF kits (Mellowtooth, Tree and Drizzle, the RookAspenKite litter, and the BrownWeb litter) becoming best friends

They have many wacky hijinks together and give Wordweaver at least eleven aneurysms as they look for Mellow 🥰
