Whispering Forest Trees
So, I’m only in Year 3 of Night Vale, but so far, there have been three times where someone has said the whole “Trees. They are us” followed by the weird noise thing. Two of these times have taken place after the episode The Whispering Forest.
Now, to my knowledge, there aren’t any trees in Nightvale, you know, cause it’s in the desert. I think there are trees in the dog park, but I’m pretty sure they aren’t real trees. I believe they are metal. Thus, the only real trees are in the whispering forest.
And guys, you know what happens to the people who go into the whispering forest, right? And you know how the forest talks to people? And how people who go into the forest, kind of, become the forest?
So we could say, that people who go into the forest, turn into trees. And thus, we could also say, that the trees are people.
That the Trees. Are. Us.
