Arima
2. Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc.
I guess his light blond hair can count as one since it’s not their natural color. He actually has black hair, but started to bleach them when he was in highschool.
9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.
He’s usually fast to fall asleep but it’s hopeless if he feels anxious. It doesn’t happen so much hopefully because everytime he can’t sleep, he just ends up smoking and driking all night.
16. What are their best school subjects? What are their worst? List five of each.
(let’s go back in time, when he was still in highschool uwu)
Arima was in the literature derpatement and in the top ten students. He never failed any exams about History (both Japanese and World), same goes for the Literature classes and he was the top student concerning politics and economics.
On the other hand when he was in 1st and 2nd, he always had red marks on all tests related to sciences and mathematics lessons.
Takashi
8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?
He’s good at thinking but he can’t do anything before having long and deep thoughts about it, meaning he can’t act impulsevely, unless he’s forced to. There is always a “but what if ?” in his mind.
12. Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.
Actually i can’t find any unusual things about Takashi, he’s pretty much your average guy, he most unusual characteristics would be him nodding way too much to basically everyone he met.
15. Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time?
Oh god no, Takashi can’t to more than one thing at a time, because he always forget the other since he can only focus on one subjet. When he’s doing something he tends to forget everything around him.
Bois vert
4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?
Bois vert (and Racine actually) doesn’t use “I” when he talks but “us” instead, which includes him and Racine.
9.Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.
Bois vert a peaceful spirit and isn’t worried about anything aside Racine. And his dreams consist of sharing Racine’s ones, which are more like memories than real dreams.
19. If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight?
Bois vert is always ready for a fight ! He loves to fight with the animals in the forest but he never won against the old fox.
Racine
6. If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?
The Sore Feet Song by Ally Kerr. I always thought this one would be good for Racine because it’s exactly what he feels. He’s totaly dedicated to Bois vert which means his absence ‘cause him to wander around just to find him. Bois vert life depends mostly of the seasons and winter is basically his disapearance for a short time, a time where Racine can only focus on what to do if Bois vert never comes back (because it’s a possibility).
Also Mushishi soundtrack is a huge inspiration for their story atmosphere !
11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?
That’s not really something he’s thinking about, creation and gods are things from the human side and he doesn’t feel a little bit concerned by them. He understand they are the reason for his and Bois vert’s appearance (from his memories he understood that humans’ prayers are linked to their well-being) but he can’t explain how.
21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?
“I don’t want to “see” anymore.” “Give Bois vert freedom.” “Free us from the forest.” Basically, all Racine wished is a life without being the spirits they are, because he knows Bois vert feels like he’s trapped in that small forest and the only reasons is because he can’t be separated from Racine who can’t leave their tree.
