New Moon • Hecate • the Strength Within. . . Last Month During the New Moon I came to you, in the dark of the night, broken and bare. I cried to you, begged for guidance on finding the way out, asked for a spell to be lifted off from me, for the dark shadows to leave me. I set out my intentions to take back my power. To be freed from burdens of body, mind and spirit, freed from the demons within and the demons within others that were keeping me enslaved. I asked to be filled with patience and peace and comfort and safety. I asked you, Moon Goddess, to infuse me with your strength as I knew closing this chapter and embarking on the next would require a lot of it. I sat on the cold wet ground, and as my moontime flowed out from me, tears streamed down my face, with shaky breath but my unwavering trust in your powers consumed me. . . This month At the dark of the moon I gathered with a bunch of witches and through long dedicated ritual we called upon you, Hecate. You whom at the perfect times always come to remind me that all the answers I seek are within You came to remind me that I am the holder of my key. The breaker of the spells that are casted over me The breaker of spells that bind me from within. . . You reminded me I chose my path at the crossroads and I hold my strength The path I now chose is the path that is me, and the evidence of my freedom will keep revealing itself The burdens that have been plaguing my body are finding its way towards healing.
