hey y'all! I'm finally getting around to posting this worf collage. I suggest clicking the images for better quality and a look at all the details!
this is the biggest star trek collage I've ever made! it's on a 24x36 inch wood panel that was expensive as hell, lol. for the biggest image I used a vintage giant poster magazine! everything was hand-cut and it's all sealed with satin finish varnish. the other materials I used were gel pens and acrylic paint. as far as my tools go, I used sponges, brushes, a squeegee, a brayer, and I cut out my own stencils using a thin vinyl sheet!
I was going for a look that really emphasized that I was using clippings/pages/posters from magazines! usually I carefully cut everything out but I wanted to include some whole pages I just tore out as well. the klingon text that I included says qapla'! I have more of these magazines so I'm planning to do more in this style.
