gnc spock thots bc @lacefuneral was discussing some big brain gnc spock ideas and I can’t get these other ones out of my head

nail polish of all colors... GLITTER and other fun top coats bc the texture is so fun... I think he matches his eye shadow to his nails

I’m in love w the post abt spock and a mood ring, and I think he has more jewelry; rings mostly at first (matching rings w kirk hello???) but then a necklace or two... earrings... he’s DEFINITELY an anklet kind of guy (with charms omg...)

you know how amanda has those headscarf things sometimes? I think spock wears those too, and collects a couple in nice delicate silks with vibrant colors (plus, a stunningly intricate black lace one with beading)

he’s already rocking some great heel height in uniform but you KNOW he’s got some 8 in heels that he wears off duty... stunting

I’m sorry but “Ambassador Spock and his wife... Are My Parents” is the funniest fucking line in all of media history like WHAT was Spock thinking??? did he assume Kirk would’ve read his files and remembered his parents names? did he figure he’d told Kirk at some point but in reality totally forgot? did he think the family resemblance was strong enough that Kirk would figure it out for himself? did he just want to create Drama? is he really that repressed and thought he could avoid telling anyone???? there’s so many possibilities and they’re all fucking hysterical

so... I watched City on the Edge of Forever for the first time this past weekend, and @uss-starprise-entership let me live text her during it.. I may have had a minor breakdown.. have some highlights for posterity

Kirk’s tattoos au!  Detailed descriptions and clearer drawings of each tattoo under the cut!

1. A sailor’s star and ashayam in Vulcan script. He got this when he and Spock got married and it represents always returning home, to Spock :’)

2. A sea turtle. A classic sailor’s tattoo that was often earned when someone crossed the equator. Kirk got it after crossing the barrier of the center of the universe in Final Frontier.

3. Where No Man Has Gone Before ship’s wheel. The same one as in the Enterprise (according to FF). He got it when he was made captain.

4. USS Enterprise with swallows. He got the starship when he first got commissioned, and each swallow indicates a year of space travel.

5. The portal from TCATEOF with a compass rose. He got this after they returned from the 30s to remind himself of the value of always returning home to the Enterprise. “Semper Sequitur” means “always follow” and also indicates his dedication to always saving his friends, no matter what.

6. Sprig of wheat and sprig of rosemary. Inspired by @deheerkonijn​ ink au, they designed the wheat tattoo which represents Tarsus IV. I added the sprig of rosemary which I imagine Kirk got after The Conscience of a King as a closure. Rosemary is one of the plants Ophelia offers in Hamlet, “for remembrance.”

7. Whale and Earthrise. This combines both the experience of Voyage Home and Kirk’s general love for Earth that I imagine he developed later in life. The Earthrise image is a famous photo from the Apollo 8 mission.

8. Vine of ivy. Ivy symbolizes both loss and immortality through remembrance; I imagine Kirk gets a new leaf for every crew member he’s lost. Yes it’s emo.
