At the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg for the launch of the Trek4mandela 2020 expedition. This annual expedition to summit Mount Kilimanjaro ( the highest peak in Africa ) on Mandela Day is created to support the Caring4girls campaign which supports girls who cannot afford sanitary pads. For the first time 2020 Expedition goals: To ascend Kilimanjaro with different teams along all 6 routes, to summit Uhuru Peak together on at the same time on Mandela Day, July 18th. I attended the launch with great enthusiasm as I love hiking and adventure. I believe we do not conquer mountains, but we do conquer our own beliefs and inner dialogues in order to climb a mountain.
