Had to take Rob's car to get new brakes...so instead of sitting around, I took advantage of the beautiful weather and brought Bing out for a ride. Raceway Woods is a fun trail system, but well above my ability right now. I did a couple pieces of singletrack, but between the very tech lines and all the mud, I decided to stick to the multi laned trails. This spring I'll get in there and really work on my form. . Rode the gas and power right of ways around the house. Looks like there are some trail riders in the neighborhood and there are some interesting little single track lines, nothing tech, just fun and not on pavement. It's better than nothing, and great to ride even if it is pretty chilly (46°). So first things first...meet Bing, the newest member of the #fattybikeride family. He's going to fit right in. . And next, I THOUGHT I WAS IN SHAPE UNTIL I GOT ON A TRAIL! It was seriously drizzly/rainy, and I haven't done Songkran riding in 25+ years...so those wet roots and muddy switchbacks turns were a challenge.
