Her stomach had been grumbling and Jieun was no stranger with that. Having to follow a strict diet plan, she has relished herself on just plainly looking at the ‘bad’ foods and never placed them inside her mouth. She sighed. An empty brown paper bag that was once filled with her lunch, an apple, got crumpled inside her balled-up fist before tossing it away in the garbage can. A ring from her cellular phone distracted her from her distress and was surprised with the caller id. Clearing her throat, she answered the call and placed the device by her ear, light steps leading her towards the fridge to get a glass of water.

“He–” She was immediately cut off by the person on the other line, letting out a hearty laugh that was peculiar yet something that can be expected from the male. “Me too,” she muttered, weighing her consequences until her hunger triumphed. “Let’s have bibimbap? I’ve been craving for a bowl or two.”

🍺: What are some traditions that you have? What do they mean to you?

— ❥ ❛ I have a number of traditions, both from my family and from my own doing. Going to church on Sundays is an important one passed on from my family. So even now that they’re gone, I still go to honor their memories and to enjoy my own faith. There are a few other family traditions that I try to keep up as well, though they’re a bit harder to do not a days and I’d rather not speak much about them. I have my own set of traditions as well! They’re probably pretty silly… The first one being that I always make sure that once a month, I go somewhere fun! Hiking, a theme park, whatever it is. It has to be a fun adventure. Focusing on work all the time isn’t healthy and I firmly believe in making sure you still remember to have fun. I also have some smaller ones; every week I stop at a flower shop and eat a handful of things that are in season and give them to my friends. I also like to make sure that my plate is always cleared when I’m eating at someone else’s place. I give money to certain charities every year, no matter what. I climb trees and see what the highest branch I dare to jump off of is. I pick up at least one new book each month. All of my little traditions bring me a lot of happiness, truthfully. They’re like small things that I can always be looking forward to, no matter what kind of day or week or month I’m having. They’re always there to bring a smile to my face. ❜

♜ Interior decorating aesthetic

She loves homey, like pale looking homes. Gentle colors and lots of little things around the show her personality but still follow a kind of color theme. Her current apartment, while small, is very much her interior decorating aesthetic. Lots of white. Kind of soft looking but still cozy. Lots of storage and organizing that still looks good. The kind of place where you walk in and just feel at home in. 

☗ What you’d find in their cabinets

Lots of multi-used and space saving type stuff. Again, since her apartment is really small, she has to make the most out of a lot of things. Organizing is key, so things are almost always put away where they should be and in certain places. She hasn’t got a lot of cabinets to begin with, so inside the kitchen area is just a lot of utensils for cooking and stuff, as well as food storage items. When it comes to clothing, she has warm weather clothes hung up and folded neatly away and by color and clothing-type and cold weather clothes is vacuum packed and stored away for later. 

⚒ What you’d find in their toolshed (if they’d have one)

She would probably have a lot of gardening things if she had had toolshed. That’s one thing that she would probably enjoy doing if she had the space for it. Other than that, it would probably just be... outside storage space.
