Listening to the guitars on this track, it's pretty impressive that it was released in 1982, pre-REM, pre-Smiths. Captured the middle ground between post-punk and what became the mid-80s appropriation of the phrase "indie rock". In general Mission Of Burma were a punk band who allowed a few calmer, more intricate tracks, but it was these tracks that have become the most timeless.
