Today I found a Snow Fungus (Tremella fuciformis)
Most likely Witch’s Butter (Tremella mesenterica) or a related Jelly Fungus in the Tremellaceae family
Tremella mesenterica, or Witch’s Butter!
A very peculiar jelly-like fungus.

Witches’ butter, Tremellaceae, Tremella, truly loving this strange warm winter. Perhaps the only fungus to take full advantage of Montana’s colder months. AKA jelly brain fungus.
