Well… I was 15 back then. It was May 14th 2005. I remember it was a hot day. Get behind me, Satan tour. Greenhornes were first. I saw Karen Elson most of the show dancing behind Meg. They wore these masks like devils. It was all knew and surprising… The grand piano, the marimba, the ukelele, etc. The album hadn’t come out yet so anybody in the Sports Palace knew what was going on. Little Ghost and The Nurse made me cry. I was living something new in White Stripes world in first row.

That’s amazing. Thank you for sharing. I can imagine hearing songs from that album for the first time, must have been quite something. The album was so different from Elephant.
