I did some sketches of my Trench/Bandito OCs! I wanna line these and do a few more arts of them both, but honestly I am already holding them so gently in my hands...

Laz is a falconer who works really well with Vultures (and uses them as lil spies sometimes). DEMA kind of messed him up and he's very nonverbal most of the time, but will speak up in like. Super Important scenarios. Firefly is his best friend and they've heard him talk before plenty.

Firefly is always super hyped to create new things and experiment outside the box. They're known for mostly like...making a lot of oil-filled sacks that they light on fire. They're a bit Intense about it. They're also super insecure of their abilities and constantly fear that their failure will hurt people! It's rough out there.

OC-tober day 1: new OC

i forgot october means drawing challenges and i wanted to do OC-tober. most of these are gonna be sketches 💔

anyway this is chrys (short for chrysanthemum. obv) and they are one of my trench ocs!

well! this is the final character page for the big project the lovely @voldsoys commissioned me for!!

its been an absolute honor and pleasure to be chosen for this and work on it with her for just over a year. It's really challenged my skills, and made me go out of my comfort zone to try new things I'd never normally draw! I'm really proud of how these four pieces have turned out, and I'm so excited that these are being put into a REAL BOOK!!!! so cool. I've loved hiding little details and putting my own touch on each piece (besides yknow. drawing it), and I've made a new friend through it all! Big thank you to my Ellie for being so lovely and wonderful and patient through this whole process, I'm sorry it took me so long to finish these all ;-;

My name is Banks.

I was a citizen of Dema.

When the legendary Clancy started documenting his journey through Trench, however, I was enthralled with his story. Eventually, I decided to attempt the same thing as he had: an escape. There was no life for me in Dema, so I followed in his footsteps. Guided by his journals and the mysterious light of the Torchbearer, I made it out.

For some reason, though, as soon as I was in Trench, I started having these reoccurring dreams about Nills. It was as if he was following me. Eventually, I saw him, galloping towards me on his white horse.

I made my narrow escape from Nills by diving off of a cliff into a river. Dema has no large bodies of water, so I had never learned how to swim. The last thing I managed to do before I started drowning was to cry, "Sahlo Folina".

The next thing I knew, I woke up in the camp of the fabled Banditos.

My name is Banks.

I am an escapee.
