It’s more smartwatches in general, the Apple watch is just the most ubiquitous. Good watches are permanent, they can last a lifetime, be passed down to your children, and still be beautiful and functional timepieces. Apple watches, and smartwatches in general, will be slow and out of date in 3 years and stop working in 5. They’re temporary and fleeting and I already get enough of that with my PCs and consoles and TVs and phones. I like the timelessness of a nice mechanical watch, that’s all
