The iconic 3rd eye glasses worn by #Prince were designed by @CocoandBreezy..fellow Minnesotans...it's great to follow their evolution as designers and artists and to hear the stories first hand. You guys nailed it with this one!! Anyone that can contribute to Prince's ensemble in anyway is creating something special!! Great story about dancing on stage the first time seeing him live. I remember Coco breakdancing on set when we did the Dekit photoshoot haha!!! But yes...so many years this man gave and inspiration. An entire life of being a pure artist...never conforming. He always supported young artists. Our first encounter with Prince was not about sunglasses. He asked us to dance and perform on stage with him at the Essence music festival. We were nervous because we hadn't danced in years, but somehow Prince made us feel like we had never stopped dancing. We did what he asked--practiced until it was perfect. Our first live Prince concert was us performing with him. A memory and experience we will always cherish. -- keep practicing until it's perfect! Prince Every time we hung together, we had long deep conversations, we knew we were being given gems! We were sponges soaking up all the profound knowledge he was passing on to us. We are forever grateful to have known him and to have been given the chance to create and ever lasting keepsake in his memory.
