A deep chasm separates Harp Rock (Dun Cruit) from the rest of Lunga Island in the Treshnish Isles off western Scotland. It's famous for its large colonies of nesting guillemots and razorbills best seen in spring and summer.
Lunga is the largest of the Treshnish Isles in the Inner Hebrides off the west coast of mainland Scotland.
The European shag is a species of cormorant which nests on cliffs such as those of the island of Lunga in the Treshnish Isles, Scotland.
I think my fave thing about #puffins is the way they greet each other. You can see a bonded pair “beaking” in two of these photos taken on #lunga in the #treshnishisles yesterday. They are the loveliest wee things. Didn't get to the Hebrides this year so sharing this video from one of my favourite places in the Hebrides, Lunga in the Treshnish Isles.
