If I do my own thing I’m “selfish”
If I do something for someone I am “naive” or have “ulterior intentions”
If I walk away I am “giving up” or “avoiding accountability”
If I stay I must “clearly like torturing myself” or “crave external validation”
If I cry for someone it’s “weird” or “doing too much”
If I cry for myself it’s “self pity “ or “a lack of empathy”
If I call it out it’s “blame shifting”
If I don’t it’s “self inflicted”
If I am honest I must “show my work” doubly so
If I lie all was false & I must also be guilty of “everything else” under the sun.
If I load a gun and fire it was “unpredictable” and “hostile”
If they fire upon me it’s just another day in America. Maybe I’ll get a hashtag in twitter. Maybe.
I don’t really believe in justice anymore. Can you blame me?
