Another piece of interesting dialogue: I've been taking Trever with me a lot and he's a surprisingly dear character to me now. I really like how he's written and how he tries to connect with people again but is struggling with intense trauma and PTSD and very clear self loathing... He talks to Sosiel most often, naturally, defends him against Daeran unprompted, and very clearly loves his brother as much as his brother loves him.

But what got me is this one line that's basically him trying to bond with Lann, saying that girls don't only go for pretty boys... That implies a few things:

1) that Lann is on the dating market unsuccessfully and that the party has noticed

2) Trever having had some romantic experience in the past, and there was mention of nieces on Sosiel's part I believe?

3) that Trever has gotten this very real wisdom to him and that makes him a nice foil to a naive and gentle Sosiel

4) Trever is trying to be a part of the world again. He's trying. And he's trying for his brother.
