Fanfic summary:
Jamais Vu (Pathfinder):
Travel to the fortified city of Kenabres, the heroic city of crusaders and the start of the Commander's story. A cursed elf and bard by trade, Yunessa has just been thrust into the center of a mystery far greater than they know.
When they are appointed as the Commander of the Fifth Crusade they are forced to handle unfamiliar situations, terrifying foes, and all the mysteries that surround the World Wound. Accompanied by their companions, Yunessa finds that they too, have their own stories and goals intertwined with the Crusade.
As Yunessa tries to act with the best intentions, the mysteries that surround them threaten not only themself and that of their companions, but the fate of the Fifth Crusade itself. Can Yunessa manage to save themselves, their companions, and successfully take the Fifth Crusade to victory- or is Yunessa and the crusade doomed to a fate worse than death?
In Your Wake (Rogue Trader / Warhammer)
My future was better left to the stars, so what was I to do?
I promised an eternity of servitude, but now there's no one left to serve it to?
I should've been left for dead, before these orders become my doom.
Turned into them, now I grapple with their sin tax.
Forced to mimic their every routine, following all their syntax.

"Deliver the case back to Nocturne of Oblivion." Those were the last orders the Rogue Trader's most loyal companion recalls when they wake up alone in a seemingly abandoned voidship. Allein finds more than one unexpected and unwelcome surprise when they leave it, including the realization that the Rogue Trader might be long dead. But if it is true the Rogue Trader is truly gone, then all that matters is following the last orders the Rogue Trader gave them.
"Deliver the case back to Nocturne of Oblivion." No matter the cost, right or wrong, or come what may it's all that matters.
Commissioned some art of when Daeran fills the Commander's office with flowers. He took the time to figure out Yunessa doesn't like roses and he's very smug to see them get so flustered.
very important for elf characters to freak the fuck out about the aging difference thing and pre-grieve like crazy and scream themself hoarse with denial when they can’t stop death itself and they still look the same as when they met the frail aged body that’s going cold beneath their touch and eventually settle into a numbness that they’ll call acceptance but they never really let anyone get as close as they did in the first century of their life unless they know they’re going to stick around as long as they will
“why are elves so snobby and exclusive and cut-off from everyone else” befriending you means they’ll end up burying you and your children and your grandchildren and they’ll still be young. exactly how many times do you think you could choose to do that. if you live through enough centuries, eventually you run out of days in the year to visit each grave.
Yunessa, Bard by trade and chaotic neutral disaster.

Check out @weatherbanefor their wonderful art! Billie is great to commission and I love seeing them. Check out their Bsky. I can’t recommend Billie enough.
I've been thinking for a long time about showing Marae in relation to humans :> He's a bit taller here than he actually is, let's just imagine that human is just a short type :DD
ever since i was a little girl i knew i wanted to deny location sharing and turn off personalized ads and reject all non-essential cookies and not set up siri and face ID
characters who refuse to bury the loved one... who hide the rotting body somewhere in the house. who drag it for miles bc they can't leave it behind. who cannibalize. who taxidermize. who come back and dig up the bones
As disheartening as it is to get hateful guest comments, I find it really tiring to see these as well. People who only read (or use an Ai to read) the summary or a story chapter, after which they will spam your inbox with a sloppily done comment.
And if you talk to them, they will claim to be a fan and want to make art of your story. I had someone last year who said they were a big fan of my writing and asked if they could make art of it. I was delighted as I had never gotten fanart. But then they linked back to my last art commission and asked me 'how much do you usually pay? I can do it cheaper'. They never wanted to share fanart with me at all.
Scammers like the person in the screenshot aren't fans. They don't care about the many hours you struggle to write or the heart and soul you pour into the characters. They only want to take advantage of you and scam you.
I moderate my comments (reduces spam bots and hate anons) to help. But this is the third spam comment like this in two weeks.
