I'm sorry if this sucks, I didn't get much sleep-

Reggie has always been super jumpy, even when he was a kid but, when Luke and Alex met him, they didn't really notice it at first

then, shortly after they met Bobby and started sunset curve, Alex was picking up his drum kit and accidentally clanged the cymbals together, and Reggie practically jumped out of his skin and maybe screamed a little

Luke and Bobby were like: "👁-👁 ?"

but then Alex was like: "aRe yOu oKaY???"

and Reggie just responded, "yeah, no, yeah, I'm fine haha" and he was visibly shaking

they all made a point to not be loud after that to avoid startling Reggie

after they died and joined Julie and the Phantoms, Reggie still didn't like loud noises

he especially hates shouting

the boys were out one day and Reggie ran into another ghost who was roaming the streets and,,, well, it didn't exactly go how Willie and Alex's first meeting went

this ghost just started yelling at Reggie about how he should watch where he was going- and he was yelling loud

(Reggie was physically recoiling)

Alex stepped in front of Reggie and the hostile ghost and went off because no one talks to his friend like that

Luke just straight up punched the dude and they bolted back to the garage

Julie was sitting at the piano like, "... what did y'all just do?"

Luke, Alex, and Reggie: NOTHING

it was an experience they would laugh about, but every time it was brought up, Reggie got the warm fuzzy feeling because it was nice knowing his friends cared so much about him

and Alex and Luke wouldn't hesitate to do that again if it meant protecting Reggie

For a long time I forgot ghosts could poof places and I was just running under the assumption that willie had to steal another car to get back to the boys after stealing that bus and driving it 200 miles away

JATP meant so much to me and so many other people. I am so devasated and furious. This show brought me light in one of the darkest times of my life. I know it's been said so many times but I am so fucking angry at netflix for stringing us along for so long just to get more interaction and money. This show was one of the first prices of media I've seen with LGBT rep that wasn't centered around homophobia and trauma or treated as taboo, AND was still an important part of the plot. And in a KIDS show! That means even more to so many children. There was a POC mc!! Interracial couples! mental health normalization!! Grief plots! And a banger soundtrack with some of the most talented musicians and actors on top of all of that. It got so many awards, so many streams, made so much money, created such a large fanbase that held on for over a year, and Netflix STILL cancelled it. It's just so upsetting. There was still so much story left to tell. So many songs left to sing. So many characters left to explore. It deserved the opportunity to do so. The cast and directors and writers deserved that.

I'm angry and devastated, but I am also thankful. I'm so thankful for this show and everyone who made it possible. I'm thankful for the fandom and all of our creations and inspiration. I'm thankful for how much and how positively this show affected so many people. It genuinly saved my life. I'll never forget this show and the impact it's had on all of us, and I'll never stop holding out hope.
