I've been having a rough few weeks, can I please get some Trevor Collins fluff please? PS. Love your writing!
Sorry this took so long! I hope this week has been better for you! Thank you so much for the compliment! xx
“Hey, babe?” You hear Trevor enter the living room. You mumble something resembling a reply, but you don’t look away from your computer screen. “Why are you still up?” He asks, yawning and stretching his arms high above him. You finish the sentence you’re on and then turn to look at him.
“I have to finish this paper by seven o'clock in the morning,” You reach out towards the coffee table and grab your coffee cup, holding it up to your lips to take a sip. As the coffee reaches your lips, you quickly realize that it’s gotten cold. Promptly spitting it out, you make a disgusted noise and hold the cup out towards him. “Refill?” You put on your sweetest smile and a voice to match.
“Of course.” He smiles back at you, sleepily, and trudges out of the room to head to the kitchen. You spin around in your chair to face your computer again. Re-reading the last sentence you wrote, to remember where you were, you start typing again. A few minutes later you hear Trevor shuffle back into the room with you. You glance up at him as he sets your coffee cup down on the table in front of you.
“Thank you,” you start, noticing how tired he looks. “Why don’t you go back to bed, babe?” He runs a hand through his hair and then grins at you, sluggishly stepping closer to you. When he gets to you, he lays down on the couch behind you. He stretches out and wraps his arms around your waist. “You going to sleep out here?” You giggle when he buries his face into your back and hums.
“I want to cuddle with you,” he mumbles into your shirt. “And you’re not in bed.” He holds an index finger up, as if he’s trying to prove a scientific theory. “So if I want my cuddles, which I do, I have to stay out here.” You can feel him smile against your back, satisfied with his answer. He drops his hand, draping it over your leg.
“Well I won’t argue with that,” you laugh quietly. “Just don’t blame me if you’re kept up by my loud typing.” He laughs a little and then kisses your back.
“I won’t,” he mumbles and then kisses your back again. You lean over and dim the lamp on the end table next to the couch. Returning to your paper, you click on the second tab that you have open. You read through the article, slowly, trying not to miss anything. Your hand lazily strokes Trevor’s arm, using the other hand to scroll down the page as you read. He sighs in approval and before long you hear his breathing get slightly deeper, soft snores passing his lips every once in awhile.
You read articles and type sentences for the next hour, all the while enjoying Trevor’s warmth on you. When you finally finish your paper, you gently close your laptop, attempting to be quiet. You breathe out a sigh of relief and look at the clock. Five o'clock in the morning. You decide that you may as well let Trevor sleep, so you lie on the couch with him, curling into his arms.
“This is what I wanted all along,” He grins, languidly, and pulls you close to him. He lightly strokes your hair and kisses your forehead, whispering, “Now go to sleep.”
