Black Feathers || Trial 2 Aftermath
The votes were in and the culprit has been chosen. The option taken here was that Aibek Karimov, the man who is known as the tamer of the golden eagle Umay. He seemed to be quite angry at people for saying that he was truly a murderer, saying that he was innocent and threatening people who dared to say the opposite. Just look at what he had done to Theodore, such a violent act.
Either way, while you all are busy avoiding fights, yelling and sending your eagle flying over menacingly, the biggest menace among you was sitting on her throne, admiring the beautiful outcome of the trial that was being held right here.
The votes have been all put in.
"Fufufu..." Sekai laughs a little at what she sees, observing the results for a second before turning to them. "That is quite a lot of votes for you, don't you think, Karimov? How amazing was to watch you sending your eagle to threat all of them like this... I could almost feel pleased at this outcome."
The SHSL Glamour stood up from her throne, clapping happily while laughing in her cruel, malevolent way. Oh god, what is coming next?
"My children, you have all been so very hardworking to this point and yet you surprise me like this once again. Congratulations, you have found out the killer of Yoriko Kozakura! Aibek Karimov, I'm sorry, but seems you have been outshined." The celebrity laughs a little bit more when she says that, before turning back to them all, smiling in the same evil way. "In the end, you are no more than a circus boy whose intelligence is far below everyone else's right? Would you mind if I spoil to everyone here that you thought you were going to represent your people in the world when they just didn't care for you in the slightest way and just sold you to the circus? Wow, what a tragic story, don't you think? But I would say..."
She paused for a second.
"At least you didn't burn down an oncology ward."
Blackened Medicine || Trial 1 Aftermath
As soon as everyone has finished voting, Kuro Sekai chuckled, shifting on her throne while looking at the people at them.
"Well done, my children. Very well done indeed. I am very proud of you, letting your light shine brightly like this. I can see some potential in all of you again and I am very glad."
"With this, I want to say that... You are correct! Jitsuko Murasa is the killer of Eriko Kotara. Congratulations! I hope you are happy for sending her to certain death."
What? What did she just said?
"Oh my, have you forgotten about what I said? I told you already - If you manage to discover who the killer is, they will be brutally executed and such execution will be shown right before your very eyes! Isn't it just beautiful?"
"Jitsuko Murasa, if you have any last words, this is your moment. The spotlight is all yours for one last time."
Enough is Enough || Kuro Sekai’s Announcement
"Oh my, you all speak so very much that I really couldn't find myself caring for what you were saying. I was right here just smiling and ignoring every single word coming out of your mouth. Are you finished? If not, now you are. Enough."
Sekai chuckled a little and grabbed a hammer that just by the side of her throne as she did so, a red button appeared just before her and the SHSL Glamour started to laugh in joy.
"Now I shall get this execution done, my child! I'm certain you, Jitsuko, will love it to death. It's punishment time!"
And so Kuro Sekai strikes her hammer right in the red button, a chain coming from behind the pharmacist and wrapping around her neck. She tries to resist it weakly but soon the girl is dragged out of there, screaming.
"Now turn your attention to this screen right here. You will now watch the result of your own actions, children."
Chapter 5 - Trial Aftermath
Aspen, still leaking oil, reached forward and slowly grasped Katelyn’s jacket in his hands, hugging it close. He fell to his knees with a clank, crying into it.
Kassidy walked over and kneeled beside him, patting his back.
“Hey... I’m here for you. It’s ok.” She said. He sobbed (very real sounding for a robot. Almost scarily so) and sank into her touch.
Sara and Vera looked at me, then at Aspen, then walked over and kneeled down too. Me and Karma looked at each other.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to.” She murmured to me. I knew what she meant, and honestly, I didn’t feel up to comforting anyone tonight. I was exhausted, mentally and physically.
“Could we go..?” I asked. She nodded.
“No problem. We can help them out tomorrow.” She said, grasping my hand. I held it, squeezing it as we walked towards the elevator. I looked back at it came down. Aeja and Estrella were still at their stands. Aeja liked at Estrella, who glanced at Aeja, tentatively reaching up to touch her own neck. She then looked away.
“Do you think Estrella really saw the killing?” Karma asked me. I shrugged.
“I honestly don’t know. That case felt... kinda quick compared to the others. But everything checks out, especially since she admitted it.” I was kinda wondering aloud now, but Karma still hummed thoughtfully.
“Well, not much we can do now. C’mon, we need some sleep.”
“It’s only 6:30pm-”
“Still. Napping exists! C'mon. Get in loser, we’re going napping.”
I laughed tiredly as the elevator pulled in. We stepped in, leaving the others to themselves.

As we got back to the surface, we were still holding hands. Neither of us were uncomfortable, so nobody said anything.
“So, which room do you wanna stay in?” Karma asked me.
“Huh?”
“Isn’t it obvious? I’m crashing with you tonight. I-I mean, unless you don’t want me to.”
“No, no, that’s fine! I was just confused. Umm, how about my room?”
“Sounds good.”
We walked back to my room, the elevator pinging in the distance. I recognised the distant voices as Estrella and Aeja. At least they were speaking again.
We got to my room and collapsed on the bed, barely standing long enough to lock the door. Karma didn’t mention a different sleeping arrangement, so again, I didn’t say anything.
“...you ok, Hayden?”
“Yeah... I’ll be OK. Just a bit stressed, you know? Between my whole talent thing, Aspen being so upset, Estrella and Aeja being pissed...”
“Yeah... we should probably talk to Aeja at some point too. Did you hear what Estrella said?”
“Yeah... it didn’t sound like she was lying either...”
“...well, we can cross that bridge when we come to it. See you in the morning, Hayden.”
“See you in the morning.”
And with that, I closed my eyes. I faintly heard the others going back to their rooms as I drifted off.
I heard what should be the last person coming out...
Then a yell.
“Who the hell are you?!”

Cats (Do Not) Always Land on Their Feet || Cheshire || Trial Aftermath || Execution Reaction
Shoved away as the chains arrived, the street magician let out a small wince as she was sent tumbling to the floor ungracefully. With a grim expression on her face, she watched as Melissa was dragged away from her position on the floor.
As she managed to push herself upright, adjusting her vest as she did so, Cheshire managed to see Melissa being tied up before she quickly burrowed her face into her knees as the chants of the priests reached her ears.
For the rest of the execution, the street magician didn’t even dare to watch- keeping her face buried in her knees as her shoulders remained tense and the bonfire burned. Her shoulders became even more tense and hunched as Melissa’s screams continued, until finally, only bells remained.
Only then, once the execution was over, did Cheshire raise her head- rubbing her face with an arm. Once lowered, her face was pale and eyes red-rimmed, but her expression was still as grim as before.
“…”
Simply glaring up at Sekai, the street magician hugged herself and left towards the elevator without a word.
what are you doing dude | Teddie | Re: Sekai
"...Huh. I wonder...if you so went ahead to interfere as much, have you so humbled yourself to bring yourself down to our level? You're not SS rank anymore. You're just an ordinary star, like I was before. Wonder how long that will last..."
Despite everything, Teddie's confident grin is unwavering.
"Does that make us equals, then? ...Hah, as if. But I know you hold at least some level of respect for me. You wouldn't humor my questions or let me off scott-free for what I was doing at your mansion if you didn't, after all."
...What did he do.
"...Still, you must be hella delusional to think that what you did was fair. I wonder what kind of fucked up shit you must've gone through to think that way. Anyway, if you're not gonna play fair, then I won't either. I hope you're prepared, Kuro-chan~"
Unfriendly Fire
The taunting from Teddie hit Sekai's ears, her eyes narrowing as she heard what the pink-haired hoverboarder had to say. Even though she seemed to be rather insulted by those words at first, the diva merely laughed at his face, smiling in that same cynnical way she always does.
"You see, Hickson, I've had quite a few improvisation lessons, after all I'm the SHSL Glamour, the best in all that can be called entertainment. You should have known this so far: I am the best in everything. You have seen my trophies back in my house, didn't you?"
"Either way, you can't say it was scripted when there were opportunities to get out of that situation. And to think that ribbon getting loose and falling right after I gave Yamato the notebook almost represented a threat. Almost, but not quite. You were the responsible ones for your own downfall, not me. Just accept your fate instead of going through the easiest way, which is calling me names and saying I am guilty of your failure."
The end of that sentence was pretty snarky, the eyes never failing to leave Teddie.
