“Ah, oui!” Any opportunity to spend time doing Christmas activities with someone was one that Kagami would more than eagerly take. They always reminded her of her childhood, back when things were more okay... “Though I do apologize in advance; I am not exactly the most artistic. But... I believe it will be fun!”

A Secret Santa? While Sakura indeed knew what that was, the thought of actually participating in one was new to her.
“That is when you secretly buy a gift for someone else, hm?” Oh, yes. She could perhaps very easily do that... as long as she knew the receiver in question more than... well, just acquaintances. “That sounds as if it could be quite fun. I have no doubt the others would enjoy it.”

“OH, HOW VERY POETIC!” His cheshire grin is replaced by a smirk laced with mockery, his tail flicking behind him as he regards her through narrowed eyes. How nice it must be to weave poetics and look fondly on one’s battle with death. Not that he actually believed that’s what she’s doing -- his own agitation isn’t a sign of disapproval from assumptions of her having some form of privilege above him, but rather disappointment that one could romanticize their struggle to begin with. One would think looking to the bright side of still being alive wouldn’t be so upsetting, but when their entire realm rested on the shoulders of a girl and whether or not she could remain ALIVE long enough to escape this place ... oh, he wishes she would have been far more humble far before now. “Gloriously alive, perhaps. But you certainly get into every bit of trouble along the way, don’cha? Not very becoming of a heroine!”
That’s not an understatement. Though it can’t be the fault of any ALICE here that they’re in such danger, it does require a touch more sanity than madness to survive this place. A good head on one’s shoulders. “You’d be far less maybe-perhaps-sorta-almost-perchance-whoknows-questionably DEAD ‘TOMORROW’ if you took more care for your life! Whatever stern composure he’d had a moment before slips. The grin returns and he lazes over onto his sider, hanging his upper body off of his tree branch turned perch so that he can meet her face to face ... albeit upside-down. His arms hang down with him, but they soon disappear into thin air. “Your life is precious, not poetic. Do take more care of it. Plan to win battles in the ‘morrow, never lose them, princess. Although that’s not a very fun perspective is it?”

Gonta celebrating Christmas for what he believes is his first time?! It’s been so much fun so far! It’s a lot more fun than he believed it would be, and that was surely saying something! And when Kaede asks him for his help, the grin that encompasses his face is unmatched!
“Of course Gonta will help Akamatsu-san!” he declares happily. “Gonta can put it up, or Gonta can lift Akamatsu-san to put it up!”
While he’s waiting for her answer, a sudden thought pops into his head. “Why does star go on top? Gonta has seen lots of trees, and they do not have stars on top! Why this one?”
