The Triangulum Galaxy, M33 // Joachim Müller
This beautiful galaxy is our second closest (major) galactic neighbor right after the Andromeda Galaxy. It's classified as a barless spiral galaxy and it is rich with new star formation hence the bright red nebulae seen here.

for these images, i took an hour drive to a church in the middle of nowhere. this is how dark it was there.
in order of appearance: andromeda galaxy, orion nebula, starfish star cluster, pleiades, triangulum galaxy, phantom galaxy, crab nebula, new hope united methodist church

This incredible image presents M33, the Triangulum Galaxy, from a new perspective. Due to tidal interaction with M31, M33 experiences intense star-forming activity, resulting in spectacular structures of glowing emission nebulae. During processing, the team created an SHO image (highlighting strong SII/H-alpha regions in red) and blended it with high-resolution LRGB data — revealing both the vibrant nebulae and the underlying galactic light.
