Triballian. Micko Krstić 1855-1909. Micko was part of the Brsjak tribe; a Serbian tribe with Thracian origins living in the mountainous regions of modern day Macedonia. Micko was a living bad-ass that fought in the Serbian-Ottoman wars, participating in the Kumanovo Uprising, and the Brsjak revolts. He fought the Bulgarians as well and was imprisoned several times throughout his life. He fought along side the Chetniks and was loyal to the freedom of Serbia from Imperial control till his consequential assassination on October 29 1909. His Death inspired further revolts by his people.

Celto-Triballian wars. The Triballian Thracians and the invading Celts in the Balkans was a story of both mutuality and campaigning against one another. One could say that the Celts loved fighting the Triballians and vice versa which in the end resulted in assimilation. The Triballians began to worship Celticized versions of their gods and carried Celtic military equipment. Western Bulgaria and the southern-eastern parts of Serbia (Sumadija region, Nis, Kosovo) was a cultural epicenter of one of the most interesting cultural interactions of Celts, Thracians and Illyrians.
