Hey, Why hate Tribalstuck?

Yes yes, I talk of the apparently forbidden AU Tribalstuck, leave the torches, death threats, and pitchforks at the door. This is a discussion because I’m curious on why people are hating a, apparently fantasy AU from what I’ve found, not a something to tear my throat out over. 

I’ve looked high and low at all the arguments for and against the au, and understand both sides. I understand that the face paint(If done in a mocking way) and pulling outfits off actually tribal societies is offensive. But as said before, from what I’ve seen, in the good posts that a lot of people like, it’s a fantasy au made by . Of course, some of the cosplay and designs are straying on the racist side, but that’s because not everyone does their research. If the au was perceived right, instead of tumblr assuming the worst, It could’ve been great in my opinion and a good outlet for some creativity.  I agree with @thatgirlwiththeface and @takoush here, it wasn’t set on earth, it had it’s own self-standing religion, mythos, and history.
