  愛沙尼亞封閉小鎮的神秘謀殺《Mother》母親獨挑沉睡的真相

自從兒子遭到不明人士槍擊而陷入昏迷，母親艾沙就成了全職看護，街坊鄰居也開始議論到底是誰下此毒手。在這個平靜又封閉的小鎮，每個人似乎都對彼此瞭若指掌，背地裡卻是各懷鬼胎。即使是全世界手法最笨拙的犯罪，在這裡都有可能成為永遠無法偵破的懸案。

愛沙尼亞女導演Kadri Kõusaar在2007年以首部長片《Magnus》入選坎城「一種注目」，成為該國首次進入坎城影展官方單元的作品。今年導演將帶著這部從製片到編劇皆為女性陣容的「母性觀點」作品，前往4月中開始的紐約翠貝卡影展。

導演將疑雲重重的黑色喜劇以粉色系包裹，利用每個前來探病的訪客告解、封閉社區的居民百態，倒映出愛沙尼亞的「後蘇聯」日常，以及人民夢想從封閉社群中解脫而不惜代價的失速行為。
