How Tribeleadr, a web marketing agency, uses Azendoo
In the beginning of the summer, I met Harold from Tribeleadr. Not only is this guy a serial entrepreneur, he’s an avid Azendoo user and even wants to put the app on his Market Place (Up & smart). Naturally, we gladly accepted his offer and asked for an interview !
Harold kindly played the interview game with us and chatted about the way he uses Azendoo. Here’s how he handles both his web-marketing clients and his deals on Up & Smart with Azendoo.
So Harold, tell us about your company.
First off, Hello Azendoo team and your readers! And thank you for allowing us to speak on your blog! ;)
So regarding Tribeleadr, we’re an agency that specializes in web marketing. We help our clients acquire, develop and retain their online communities by allowing them to showcase their expertise and their products and services.
Our services range from Website Creation to Community Management, including editorial content of blogs and writing value-added content (such as the White Pages, for example).
Within Tribeleadr, we also support a project for entrepreneurs, professionals and web startupers called UP & SMART.
If I had to simplify to the max, I would say that it’s like a Groupon, for B2B, which specializes in digital products (applications, content and other resources).
The concept: a new deal every week to find exceptional solutions and allow our customers to save time and money. :)
How did you hear about Azendoo ?
When we first launched, we used an English project management and collaborative work solution.
We were generally satisfied, but there were still problems. Like for example, it was difficult to introduce international partners and/or customers when the application is uniquely in the language of Shakespeare.
At that point, we started to look for alternatives in French. After just one, my choice fell on Azendoo.
What were you looking for when you tried Azendoo ?
When you work in a small structure like we do, the first objective is simplicity. I’m not talking about a « simple » tool, but something that’s capable of rendering a particularly effective a simple solution!
Anyway, so what I wanted was simplicity, efficiency, and the possibility to integrate various external parties or even customers so that we can all monitor the progress of our files.
How do you use the app, and with how many coworkers, on a day-to-day basis?
Today, there are 2 of us that use it all the time (my staff and myself) and there are some part time app users like partners.
Our ultimate goal is to invite our partners and customers into our Azendoo workspaces so that we can pass into a real collaborative workflow.
This will be going into effect very soon. :)
Other than that, we use the app for organization. We have workspaces for the company and for UP&SMART.
Within the group, we’ve organized our Azendoo accounts by creating a “client” subject, which allows us to track where we are with each of them. It is a great method that keeps us on the same page.
Otherwise, we have different subjects such as « Administration », « Commercial », « Promotions », « Community Management », « Editorial » or even website development needs. This is the particularly awesome organization that UP & SMART will be able to find next.
And finally, I have my personal workspace where I try not to forget the everyday stuff. ^^
Did you have any difficulties getting your team to use the app?
No, I must admit that the opposite would have been surprising.
Now, we want our partners and customers to participate and allow them to follow the progress of cases that concern them. This step will perhaps be a little more difficult, but it’s the future of the way we’re going to work.
However, Azendoo is so easy to use that it shouldn’t be particularly difficult.
What is your favorite feature ?
Personally, I appreciate the ability to manage tasks by « day » or « week » or even the sub groups like « to organize . »
This really helps me manage my priorities.
My urgent tasks are planned for the day, and those that are less important are either planned for the week or in a particular niche (if I have any free time to deal with them). And finally, the « organized » tasks are the ones that will eventually become urgent, but aren’t a priority yet.
What improvements would you make to the application?
I would tweak the project mode, including introducing the ability to create models. For example, a website creation project often follows the same steps as several other similar projects. The content is different, but it would be nice to have task models already created.
In short, it would be particularly useful to deploy a new project where tasks are pre- filled ! ^^
Who would you recommend use the application?
Anyone who needs a collaborative and task management solution !
We are also particularly pleased to have Azendoo among our UP&SMART partners.
