the tribe i joined was such an awesome tribe, even though it was run by only two people. there were only 2 people. until i joined.

but now one of them left and the other never comes online again.

She thinks about the stalklings in their cages, and how she likes to watch them.  About her Nyarlagroth, who lets her pat his flank after he’s been fed. She thinks about how cool and smooth his armor is, and how she likes to take off her mask and press her cheek to it.

And she thinks she’s never going to see her friends again.

Her hands go to her face, and she curls up.

When The Vicious fell, his friend was left widowed, with twin whelps on the way. Gunmar watched Alamastia grow up alongside his own cub, and as far as he’s concerned, she is stone of his stone, a trusted comrade, and until further notice, his heir apparent.

“You assume I cared about the old cripple. He taught me a few things when I was young, and he tended my wounds on occasion. He was a medic, nothing more.”
