They knew it wouldn’t end well for them. Knew it was only a matter of time before they crashed and burned and went home bloody, but they couldn’t help it.
They kept coming back for more and more, for one more high, one more adrenaline rush, one more night of clashing teeth and bruising hands.
He was shattered by his past and no longer cared to try and pick the pieces up. He was broken by his power and no longer believed in the justice he once fought for.
